Yogorino – Italian Original

Pretty Ugly takes on international Italian brand Yogorino, charged with helping them launch their first US store in Philadelphia. The final product was both a hybrid Flash/XHTML-CSS website and an offline strategy that communicated their brand through multiple social media channels.

It’s not every day you get to develop a brand from the ground up. Snipi jumped into a seemingly crowded social shopping scene. Their differentiator, the Snip Bar which is accessible as part of a browser add-on. The user drags the image of the product into the Snip Bar which pulls in it’s respective data in for immediate price comparisons. We produced the identity to information architecture to the full site design and the hot Snipi Stream visualizer. We also came up with its strapline, “Keep it on the download”.

Greedy Genius 2

PU was asked to reinvent Greedy Genius after success from its initial website the previous year. The end result was a fully revamped flash site using their existing social media services of Flickr (site images manager), Blogger (site’s copy manager), Yahoo Maps (store locator) to deliver the goods. That’s right, it was all pulled into flash.
